I think they would rather use those 900's in a 2 for 1 deal like they have with ASA and the other regionals. Delta could drop a lot more fifty seaters that way. If anything 9e will keep the fifty seaters unless they are given to the likes of skywest or asa to replace their aging fleet. Based on 12-03, it looks like management is planing on shutting down 9e with all the training events.
