They will be deficient in their pilot skills and lack even more in their character. I do believe the number of people perpetrating this crime will go up a tad when the ATP rule goes in effect, but they will pay for it later on. A lot later on, actually. Yes, they may not have the same experience background and will be deficient in their pilot skill and character, but remember what the airlines have been hiring for the last couple of years. They have been hiring 500 hour pilots for years now and dragging them through sim and IOE. That's all they want, can we get you to pass our checkride. That is the reality that the airline's have created. I agree it is not fair but it still is reality.
