The fifty state thing still makes me giggle - no variation of the -200 could make the mainland to island leg....sadly even Cold Bay isn't an option...the winds are usually more favorable coming back so maybe freight the planes over and come back when the weather cooperates? I may be completely off here, but I think (as retarded as the 50 state thing is) when thinking about Hawaii they probably meant operate like a Mesa and do flights around the islands.
