sim is a squirrelly bastard when it comes to pitch. Don't bother with the trim, it just seems to randomly change pitch on you so keep the scan up!
That sim is designed to do that for that exact reason, to keep your scan going. Not to mention it is run by Windows 95... It's a procedures trainer, you're not expected to fly the thing perfectly. We all dread that thing, but its just meant for profiles. You probably did much better than you think.
