Some are expressing concern about going back with a strike push on the horizon. First as far as probationary status if you hadn't completed probation at UAL before furlough as I understand it you are a non-probation full union member when coming to CAL. Also aren't there furlough protections in place through the recent LOA until March of next year as well?
A few are predicting the bypass rate will go even higher with this set of letters however it's likely the offer will find many current RJ flyers and non-mil folks who haven't much to loose.
Also, more than a few are postulating the chances of United being released to strike is slim due to national transportation issues and the two sides will find common ground in the 11th hour.
Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on these subjects.
