I'm developing a hypothesis that, since the revelations of Colgan 3407, the regionals are loath to continue with any trainee that shows anything but astronaut-like ability during training. The last thing they want to do is explain why they continued with a trainee who showed anything less that perfection during training. We both had outstanding academic, training and safety records up to now.
My hypothesis could be wrong though.

It is wrong. Despite Colgan, the public wants astronaut-like ability during training. And
after training.
I want perfection when my wife and boys are on your flight.
You and your training partner can walk away with your "type rating". But with no hours in type, it means jack squat.
I've bit my tongue for the last couple of days, but you and I are the same age and it's time to focus. I'm sorry you got yourself into such a pile of debt and are scrambling for options, but it is what it is (I normally despise that phrase). Time to cowboy up or come up with plan B. Stop blaming everybody/everything else and get going.
Lots of experience on these threads - just listen.
