Sorry I don't have any experience with the school, but from looking at their website and simulators, I probably wouldn't recommend it. First, their fleet is all glass, which is good if your planning on buying your own cessna with a g1000, however for primary instrument training it is much better to learn on traditional gauges and switch to glass later. Its much harder to go the other way.

Also, it says they have a program which is heavy on the simulator side. I would be cautious of this since you can only use so many sim hours and any more may be a waste of money.

Now for their simulators. I do not recommend using a redbird fmx for instrument training. Its great for a few things for private students, but I have had nothing but bad experience trying to teach students instruments in it. There are a lot of problems with the programing of the GPS. The redbird's GPS does not do things the same way as the airplane which makes training very difficult for students (and instructors trying to figure it out). Its possible that the bugs are only on the 530/430 set up as I have never used the g1000, but from what Ive experienced and heard from many other instructors who used it, it is not good at all for instrument training. Also, if you are doing your multi in a seminole, then definitely don't use a redbird. It is not set up like the seminole at all, and will just cause you more problems than its worth. A frasca 142 or truflight would be much better for a multi sim.
