Why when taxiing out of 4N and ground clears you to hold short of U8 are the ground controllers so adamant about a runway readback. Your clearance limit does not cross any runways and the next conroller actually gives you a clearance to your runway. Tried to ask a controller the other day, wouldnt give me a answer.
Because it's required and they requested it. Just do it. So you're that guy on ATC who always needs an answer or explanation if he doesn't agree. TOTD material.
