If you're there at the airport any reasonable amount of time before departure, checking in shouldn't be an issue. The big boys have to do it, so can you... not exactly a big deal.
The "big boys" like to cough up scope and sell us little guys down the river as fast as you can too. I don't think I'll be looking to the "big boys" to set the example for the industry.
