For the most part, I feel regional jobs are easily attainable. I would opt to intern at a major. It could be the reason you get hired there later on in your career.
Right...especially when I join the industry, regional airlines will be sucking in anybody eligible for an ATP. That's why I'm talking about major internships: Southwest, Delta, United, etc.
