You guys are hilarious. Now you want to change the way the airline industry pays, and has paid for decades! Let me ask you this....if they paid you for every duty hour, do you think you could/would be paid at your current hourly rate? That would be over a 200% increase. Airlines don't pay that way. Did you know that when you happily took the job?
If I want paid for every duty hour, I'm guessing it would be much less and probably all come out the same.
I would love to change the way we get paid so that we are paid "on the clock" from show time to the end of debrief time even if its for a reasonable riase in total compensation. What's wrong with that?
