Most JR CA was just awarded, date of hire: May 8, 2007

With the movement from Bro CA to RJ CA right now I think the upgrade time on the Bro might get close to "Off the Street." The reason is that you need 2500TT with 1000 121 and there are very few newbie's with that kind of time. It usually takes them about 1 1/2 years to gain the experience, so if your coming from a current 121 job you will be upgrade faster than the others in your class.
