Gojets = longer time to upgrade, and then, when you finally do upgrade, you're just going to be another boring RJ driver that can't hand-fly an approach to save his ass among thousands of other RJ drivers like you trying to apply for the same 25 slots at an airline that actually pays decent, so by the time you get hired by one of them, you'll be well past 10 years in the barbie jet. Would even be better to go to Lakes for 3 years, get the 1000TPIC and then Skywest for a year. You'd be much more competitive than a 4 year Gojets pilot.
Additionally, Lakes sells their own tickets and doesn't take mainline flying away or contribute to any other errosion of the profession. By going to Gojets, you're becoming a part of the reason why this industry has gone to hell.
