Unfortunately you get charged. They are very specific when it comes to block time. For example for the ATP you get like 2 4 hours flights. If your instructor accidentally goes over you are charged for that flight time. I don't necessarily agree with it but at RDU you will lose .6 off your next lesson. But some guys are from there and only want to train at RDU which is why it is so small. They literally have a closet with a sim (no exaggeration). Richmond is nice although it isn't a solo location (meaning they just have an office) but you can run up and be first in line for take off almost every time.
