I mean, feel free to continue debating but you are certainly not changing each other's minds.
I'd much rather look forward to what we can do together. I went to the ERJ side about 8 months ago hoping that within 2 years I could be based in Atlanta where I live. Now, what looked like a sure thing to have a TA by the end of the year has turned into a "all parties are stepping back to re-evaluate" kind of situation. I'm just worried I'm going to be stuck commuting forever.
Anyway, continue if you must, but maybe there are more constructive things we can discuss.
It will probably be years til you get an Atlanta base. 1. This contract will be a miracle if it gets signed in a year or two. 2. There will be fences on equipment for cost savings (training). Only if the ERJ starts a base in Atlanta, witch I'd highly doubt, could you be in Atlanta, and that's if your seniority could hold it. Too bad we are not all just one equipment type...

and too bad there are too many of us who think they are at mainline and deserve an industry leading contract...
