Depends on what you view as bad. The CRJ reserve rules are worse than the ERJ side, but reserve is reserve - and that's everywhere. If you're in base, it can be a blessing because if you don't fly... you stay home and don't pay for a crash pad.

More than a year? Yes, if you're on the CRJ side and things stay how they have been. You never know, there are guys here that had been on reserve for 3 years at one point, and new 2011 hires (ERJ) that were on reserve for only a few months.
