I certainly agree, and it is counterproductive to exercise while not eating correctly. I say don't "believe the hype" and keep it simple. Eat clean foods while making sure to get enough protein. Stay away from processed food as much as possible. Learn to make better choices on the road.
So sad to see people starve themselves. I frequently hear crew members say, with a sense of pride, "I only ate one meal yesterday".
It is very simple, but not always easy. Discipline is my friend, choice is my destiny....
