Some may say it is not a word and yet it exists in the dictionary. Grammar police such as yourself are under the opinion that regardless should be used instead. That is fine by me as I don't really care either way, but thanks for calling me out.
Speaking of opinions. A lavatory, if the only lavatory on board, should be a required item. I speak of this from experience operating 50 seat RJs and smaller turboprops. So yes, my opinion is you fix the lav or cancel the flight.
Perhaps there should be a DCI thread where items such as this could be discussed.
