a "longjet CA" at Express gets paid for the 145, regardless if hes actually flying the 135/145. There is no excuse for a company to pay pilots 50 seat wages, or in some cases less than 50 seat wages, for 70 set airplanes. My point is, is that XJT is making money paying their pilots what they pay them, so how can SKYWEST justify paying their 70 seat pilots less than that. In proportion 70 seaters should be getting paid 20% more than the industry standard for 50 seaters, and they are not, they are getting paid below 50 seat rates in some cases!
