iCrewMax does display SC but you can always use the phone and call the VRU for your schedule as well. The only reason that you are required to check your schedule after a trip is to give CS a way to make an assignment without the necessity of contacting you by phone. Your LC responsibilities start immediately after the trip.
Here was my scenario. I blocked in from a 3 day trip at 6pm on 7/24. Earlier that day on the 24th I acknowledged at 9AM SC assignment for the following day. When I blocked in from the trip I checked Icrew and the only thing that was on my line for the following day was the 9AM SC. Sked called at 7pm and assigned me a trip for 8am the next day and I didn't know I was on the long call leash and assumed I was fully released until the start of my SC assignment the next day?
