I'm not defending this Captain's decision to deny a jumpseater. However, there is a difference beween furloughing thousands and your company going tits up. Furloughing has hopes of a recall. Been through three in fifteen years. Closing the doors does not. Sounds like a post from a DL guy who never had a bad day. I hope I am wrong to stereotype.
