I have found some information on this through the search option, but want to get some newer information. I'm a military only pilot with a standard military logbook and have not done anything electronically. I am preparing to begin applying for various airline jobs and am looking for some advice on how to prepare my logbook and track my flying hours.

Is it mandatory to put it into electronic form or is that just a better way of organizing it?

What are some of the more popular logbook software programs that people are using?

Any additional info would be appreciated.
