With the number of pilots Delta needs to hire in the next decade, most of the current DCI guys who survive this mess and want to work for Delta, will eventually work for Delta. I'm all for you, Boomer, junglebus and the other ALPA DCI pilots to get here. My heartburn is that the "future DCI" will primarily go to undercutting, piggybacking, and often backstabbing non-union and "Go-jet scabbish" portion of the IBT (its not even the Airline Division of Teamsters)....
You guys have literally paid your dues for years, you deserve a higher status than all those "non-members". 35% was NOT enough. It should have been ONLY ALPA pilots can be hired if the pilot is coming directly from another US airline (unless presently furloughed from an ALPA carrier).
