Thats why it is best to go to a place that:

1. Can change and adapt to market changes.

and

2. Has a lot of irons in the fire for different code shares. If one contract goes south you at least dont just have to close the doors. Furloughs maybe, but at least you have a chance of keeping your job.

Right now, Republic and Skywest are the only places I'd even consider going to.
