I've been following this thread and a few other for a while now. I hadn't planned to retire, but was given a few not so thrilling options so I just submitted military retirement paperwork and I'm getting my resume and flight log information together. I was wondering if Atlas has used a conversion in the past for mil to civilian time? Any other information would be greatly appreciated regarding the hiring process.
I'm not military, but when I got the application and filled it out, I don't believe there was a conversion factor on the scan-tron type form. But that was a while ago.
However, when the window was open previous, there was a PAQ form as well as the resume required for submission. The PAQ was a "big picture" so to speak with general experience questions and flight time, along with types of ac flown, etc.
I wouldn't doubt that he HR resume/PAQ screen people look at the PAQ first. And if the PAQ answers catche their eye they're less concerned with total times, etc.
Just a guess on my part of course. But I thought there were some that posted in this thread previously that may not have met the TT reqs but were MIL and looked at/hired.
