AA pilots--rightly so---are getting to a point where the repercussions don't really matter. Lawyers on here have an answer to that. NO WAY are you running a company with 60% of your pilots gone. I don't care if you get a judge to fire them.
Personally, I have difficulty seeing anyone ride that particular "elephant" at this time. The future is a wildcard right now and no one can predict that future as there are too many potential paths still possible.
