Why is NK wasting their time on going to this job fair to get other people's hopes up? They have enough qualified apps (as in with ATP and more than 4k total) to fill up classes for the next 3 years. All they have to do is call and start looking at guys without internal recs.
Guy I flew with last week got hired after the job fair last fall, no internals. I also recall meeting someone awhile back who was hired under a similar situation. Not putting anyone down that didn't get a call (I'm sure we're overlooking some great people), but rather rebuking the arguement that these job fairs are a waste of time. They may be the ONLY way for some to get their name noticed.
