Keep ya in the dark and base hiring on personality and psych test and BS HR questions instead of your experience, record and knowledge.
This is NOTHING new. Application processes were the exact same when I was looking at the majors from the outside from 1997-2000. United/Delta/Northwest/TWA/USAirways,etc. The only one I'm not sure about is American as that was the only place I could care less if I worked.
Nothing you can do about it but suck it up as there's no such thing and won't be such a thing as a pilot shortage. Play the game and enjoy. Consider it a hazing to get you through it.
In other words, turn that frown upside down! LOL
