I've known many friends who pursued the wrong careers getting stuck behind a desk crunching numbers, pushing paper, changing bed pans at the hospital, wiping snot off some kids face, at what is also "just a job" and they hate theirs far more than we do....so again, if you don't mind the lifestyle, what's wrong with flying being "just a job"? Are we too good to have jobs? We all knew what we were getting into.
One word, ENTITLEMENT, and it's mostly the entitlement generation that is stuck in their so called rutt. Most have no idea how hard a time they would have in the real world right now finding a $40,000 job fresh out of college without any skill set aside from flying airplanes.
