Instead of focusing about pay tell them pilots are tired and overworked with little to no benefits in return for the sacrifices they make to fly an airliner. They're going to say well you must go to Paris or Rome or even china on your days off right?? Tell them no you only get 3 hard days off per month. Tell them as a reserve pilot you don't know for sure when you'll be off because they can change your days off if theyre short. You can't plan anything for sure imagine not being able to control your life outside work!
