Did anyone put a gun to your head, forcing you into this career and the loans as well? Probably not.

Is this career rough at times? Sometimes crap? Of course it is...but let's not wax poetic about the simple joys and freedoms of airport McDonalds workers, all the while with the "poor me and my career sacrifices."

Everyone goes through tough years in the airlines, we all signed on the dotted line for this career and we ALL can choose to leave for greener pastures at any time...I hear McDonalds in Terminal C is hiring.
+1 Juice.

A lot of guys are quick to point out that we're more highly trained than FA's, yet they compare themselves to McDonald's workers who have even less training.

Some people just don't think. If you want to be home every night, and not spend too much on your education, Burger King will hire you fresh out of high school. If you want to be a professional airline pilot, make the sacrifices, and accept the fact that it will never be a "day job".
