The entire process is point based. You get so many points for the resume, the online test, the phone interview, MIA interview, internal rec, etc. and you make the cut or not. Your score also determines when you come out of the pool.
If it's 'use your best judgement' then do just that. I think the key is to be able to articulate the decision that you made.
During my interview everyone in MIA stressed over and over that there was no trickery and that Dr. Phill wasn't watching hidden cameras to see if you took the bottle of water or not. They really want you to succeed at that point.
As long as you don't show up wearing only a tie, you have a fighting chance.
