Been here over a year. I was the only one in my interview group to take my jacket off and I got hired. And, on the line, we change into a polo shirt instead of wearing our button-up shirt & tie in-flight.
Each part of the interview process does have a point value. But, at the same time, think they wanna know that you're gonna fit in here...not be too stiff.

I say for the interview, do it like we do it out on the line:
If you want the 747, ditch the tie as soon as you walk in the door at the Crystal Palace in MIA. And when you go to the bathroom, change into a golf shirt.
But if you want the 767, only take off your tie when behind a locked door, where no one can see you.
