As pilots it would be ignorant to get too wrapped up in something we have no control over. Not only that, but the whipsaw premise is flawed in this case because the rumored flying would be going to a better compensated pilot group that is not facing wage reductions due to bankruptcy. If anything, it proves to Eagle management that pilot costs are not the determining factor in the allocation of outsourced flying, therefore they need to look for cost-savings somewhere else. In the long-term, that's a good thing.
