I finally meet their mins and had my friend send in a recommendation while I updated my airline apps. Now granted I haven't read the entirety of this thread I do have a question, apologies in advance if its also buried in this thread.

Do they frown a phone inquiry??

My friend who recommended me got an email reply in which the HR lady mentioned she would pull my airlineapps and will contact me. I think she might also have asked if my airlineapps was updated. I fear it might not have been at that time (but was very soon after).

Anyway I told this to another friend of mine who had interviewed unsuccessfully before. He also send in an email, now he got an interview offer for the 7th of Sept even before the start of the weekend. I was waiting to see if Monday reveals something for me, but its end of business day and still nothing. I have their number from a career fair I met them at. My friend who recommended me is fine with that.
