Admittedly, I am slow on the uptake...are the folks on this thread stating (and some with concrete first hand knowledge) that UAL is actually opening the new hire office for the purpose of conducting interviews and hiring?

This seems difficult to believe given the significant number of bodies on furlough. What is the reason? Do they expect a poor response, to the tune of many hundreds, in declining a recall?

Again, I have been on mil lv for three years and my SA is low.
