Equipment is only a secondary product remaining from the original question "what do I want to do for a living". Flying is flying, but loving to go to work each and every trip is the greatest thrill. Personally, I'd rather fly an Airbus over a Boeing, but no company can offer that position in the type of flying that I want to pursue. But hey, to get a 74 type and maybe later a 76 type and have a blast at work? What more could you ask for?
