You are mistaken. Only certain sections of the TPA can be unilaterally terminated after the "expiration date " (aka "partial termination") and prior to the JCBA, but the hiring of furloughed pilots section (7-B) is not one of them.
Also, once the JCBA is complete there is no longer S-CAL or L-UAL from a pilot employment perspective and there is no option for UCH to only hire on one side or the other because the sides will no longer exist. UCH will not be offering "job opportunities" as they will be offering formal recalls.
How long, you think, before new TA and JCBA? Will it happen early 2013 or second half? Thanks
