Have you studied occupational psychology and the statistics on parental behaviour as a function of being at a
non union carrier that compensates Pilots below average? Have you measured the effects of well below average health insurance on families?
Have you compared the statistics of divorced Pilots at union and non union carriers and come to the conclusion that more marriages ended because of ALPA?
How does an indiviudual who, "by your assertion" spreads joy, not as a result of being well compensated, but as a result of getting a warm and fuzzy by flying with a cool Captain, help our profession?
If he is looking for a warm and fuzzy and not industry standard benefits, maybe he should work for Disney. That way he can go home "every night" and spread all the joy he can bring from work.
