Not exactly. Take the total number of hours for the trip and divide by 4.95 (1 hour credit for each 4.95 hours in the trip). But don't think in "days", think hours...and it applies to new hires too. Your 12 day example (exactly 12 days x 24 hours) would be 58.2 for the rig.

My experience--JFK based 767 FO hired Oct 2011, lowest month so far paid 82 hours. YMMV.
