The work days per month are 17 whether you fly, sit on your can or deadhead all over the planet. You are paid a guarantee of 50 hours per month whether you fly 50 or not. If you fly less than 50, you get paid 50. If you exceed 50, you are paid in accordance with the hourly rate for the hours above 50. If you exceed 17 days on the road...different variables kick in...it's all in the contract.
Thanks atc,
I get the guarantee part, that's pretty straightforward. My question is regarding the daily trip rig. I thought for everyday you are out, you are guaranteed 4.95 hours, that way you are not sitting around at a hotel burning time and not making any money. Simple math tells me that you just have to be out 10 days to make 1st year guarantee or 12 days after first year. So when he said you pretty much make guarantee every month, that leads me to believe you are only out the min number of days, is that correct? Am I expressin my question correctly? Do you know what I mean?
Thanks!
