Ft. Useless was terrible. I was pretty fortunate to have 15T instructors that were very... very good. The permanent party guys in charge of the barracks were all washouts from the instructor courses. My roommate was/is an airline pilot, so we had a lot of similar interests. Outside of Useless was absolutely gorgeous... but it was cold and snowing, hence why I live in sunny south florida
At least Virginia Beach had some beautiful women of all kinds, that much I remember. if you somehow got luck to get FLL/MIA you could always drive that from RSW, I wouldnt depend my commute ona saab or 1900. RSW has direct flights to DCA if you had to end up going to a Dulles base or outstation. GLH still has FO slots, that you have DL to ATL and then over to GLH on us (after oct 1). If you got 1900 in CLE you got looks like UA flight still to CLE to get there. BIL which is pretty senior now you have MSP to connect through as well as DEN on frontier. So RSW has decent options.
If youre interested get your stuff in and I guess try to get your name out there to get an interview and I figure as long as you meet time requirements now you should be ok. I think they still do the frasca sim eval, I do not know how accurate my gouge on willflyforfood is now.
