Not with a 48-hour layover, right? A 48-hour layover "turns" a US pilot "into" a Euopean pilot, and so a lot current 3-man trips
can become 2-man trips. This negates the limitation to a shorter duty day, and we can do NYC-BRU/CVG/FRA/MAD/BCN etc. with two pilots.
The only thing that prevents it is our contract.
