Ok, so here is a question for those i guess that are based in JFK that say they don't start trips there hardly ever(any other bases, feel free to chime in too). Since you guys don't typically start trips from there, where do you typically tend to start them? I don't have an interview yet either and realize, from some of the recent posts to not worry about it yet, which i am not, but am just very curious... It's important to understand that really, there's no such thing as a 'typical' trip here. Even after you bid a line and receive the award your pairing will most likely change. Often this happens before you even begin. Having said that, I can tell you that JFK trips most often begin out of WRI or DOV headed east and ORD or CVG headed west. You may also begin your flying part of the pairing in DXB after deadheading halfway around the world. As we used to say in C-141s back in the MAC days: Flexibility is the key to airpower!
