Those who forget history are doomed to forget it....or something like that.
Do you have a better understanding of where we are with overtime and premium pay? Was not the intent of giving up 150%OT to put more pay in ALL pockets? Did we accomplish that? Why are some still able to get paid well over average line value - within this contract - for flying 72 hours and some get paid 72 for flying 72? Was that the intent of the language? I don't think so! I think our negotiators were making an honest attempt to spread the pay out. Unfortunately, unintended consequences are allowing the disparities to continue while most are kept out of the game so to speak.
Let's keep up the discussions and prepare to fix it next time. Negotiations will be here before we know it.
Again we all get your point and most think you are right. Restating the same thing over and over again makes no sense. (just like I am doing right now)
The first new thing said in a millennia was just said by you. "Prepare to fix it next time" Everything prior was a playback of all we hear day in and day out, except you make a logical point unlike most who just scream socialism.
So whats the plan Sam? (Please without telling us again how giving up 150% was a failed maneuver by the union to equalize) That is a discussion I would like to hear.
