Doc, I second what workingforfree said. Anybody who's been in this industry for a while knows that the airline business can be a fickle one, and what seems like a good idea one week can turn into a disaster two weeks later. As long as you have a reason for what you did, then that's all you can tell them. I've known guys who have taken much longer and convoluted paths than you to get to their jobs.
