No offense to "off the street" pilots that want to work at UCAL, but IMHO, the more furloughed (read "pi$$ed off") pilots that come back to the CAL offer, the "better" things will get. IF they start hiring off the street, they will most likely get ones that are eager just to be here, on probation, and will do anything to keep it going, and keep their jobs- in a downward spiral.

If more of the "seasoned" pilots get on, they are NOT on probation, or scared to refuse a trip, etc.... and maybe (?) things might get better slowly. PLUS they can turn down a crappy JCBA if there is one.

I don't know....
