Why put yourself through that torture unless you absolutely have to? Besides the fact that when these remaining pilots are RECALLED they'll rejoin the airline at their rightful, respectful, seniority not shoved onto the bottom (stapled) like the CAL deal forces upon them.
The problem with this thinking is that their recall will be delayed by the new hires. They aren't temp workers.
