The truth is in the CASM numbers. If I have time I'll look them up and post.
Look at the CASM on the B717. We're still getting 88 of them. And to date, no additional 76 seaters. The 319 fills a gap. Just like the DC9 that has been given multiple extensions on its retirement date.
