L-UAL means "Legacy UAL" (Guys who worked for original United).

S-UAL is the new merged management's term for "Subsidiary United" (since our seniority lists aren't merged yet). It is the same as the above.

L-CAL and S-CAL are Legacy/Subsidiary as above.
